This is for the activities found in Chapter 1 of our WLR textbook. (Chapters 2&3) to be found in module 2. The study: Basketball Shot Types and Shot Success in Different Levels of Competitive Basketball , by Frane Erčulj & Erik Štrumbelj https://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0128885   The study “analysed video footage and categorized 5024 basketball shots from 40 basketball games and 5 different levels of competitive basketball.” The sample issue being that because of the variety in level of basketball, the results could not apply to one group. As in if they had only sampled 40 different NBA games, their findings could be applied to a smaller more capturable group. However because the sample was so varied, there is little to suggest that a rule for youth basketball is the same as it is for professionals.  Hi all,  My name is Elijah King and I am very happy and honored to be returning to NDNU for this last year. My mom is actually an alumni of NDNU and of the history poli sci department, so as a family we have a deep love for the school and our department. That being said, it makes it that much more sad for me and my family having this last year not on our beautiful  ocean scented campus. Anyone who's been in class with me the past few years knows I have deep passions for research and academia. I really love diving deep on a subject and trying to understand it from as many perspectives as possible. I learned a lot about the value of perspective in research last year when writing my thesis on Thomas Sankara. Many to most sources on Sankara are either harsh criticisms with little praise, or just the reverse, "blind" glowing adoration.
